Howdy! My name is Jack Ellis, I’m from the big city of Huntington, TX and have resided here in Lufkin for most of my life! I'm now serving as UBank's Lufkin & Huntington Market President. 

I graduated from Huntington High School and then received my Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Texas A&M University (WHOOP!). I’m a lover of Jesus, family, and anything sports & outdoors related. In my free time, I enjoy golfing, hunting, and spending time with my wife and son!

I started my career as an 18 wheeler salesman in the Lufkin and Beaumont area for nearly 6 years where I was fortunate enough to work with some incredible people and businesses in East Texas. Towards the end of 2020, I was offered the opportunity to join the UBank team and continue my career of helping cater to the local community. I love working at UBank because it is one of the last true community banks left in our area, and I believe that gives us an advantage over other larger banks. We’re a local bank full of local people that understand the needs of our customers.

My current focus is Commercial Lending for the Lufkin Market and surrounding areas.
